I've created 4 tickets to implement the onboarding progress feature, covering UI, logic, integration, and analytics.

Most of the scope is clear, but one ticket (REZ-01) may need a quick review — specifically around how optional onboarding steps should affect progress calculation.

If you have a preference there (e.g. whether optional steps count toward completion), I can update that ticket before sending these to Jira.

REZ-01Develop the OnboardingProgress UI component
REZ-02Implement step-tracking logic and progress state management

Users are dropping off at the 'connect' stage of onboarding, what should I do to improve it

Based on the system architecture, the "connect" stage involves linking to external tools like Jira, Linear, and GitHub. This is handled by dedicated API clients in src/services/integrations/ and the settings pages in src/app/settings/integrations/.

Here's what we should do to improve it:

REZ-127Design clearer integration connection UI with guidance
REZ-128Implement telemetry for integration onboarding flow
REZ-129Standardize OAuth error handling and recovery
REZ-130Add skip integration option during initial onboarding
